ok, so here it is, i bought a kimber, and it needs a decent scope on it, , price point is $800 or less, ya i know, should spend more, but after the rifle and some reloading gear, $800 is the budget, , i`m thinking Zeiss?, i have various Vortex scopes, and have had bushnell HD, and leopold( not a fan of leopold, had a bad time dealing with warranty and not wanting to deal with it again), what would you guys and gals do?, not a tactical super longrange, longest shots are out to 500(and thats a very long range for where i hunt),

ideas?, thanks in advance! :)

Have you looked at the Swarovski Z3s? They are a little over your budget but not by allot, and a very nice scope and light. I just put one on my 300wsm and I am very pleased.

I purchased one Zeiss and had warranty issues, the glas was god but no better than others, my favorite scopes are Nightforce, Bushnell elites have never let me down and Leupolds in that order. I had some issues with Leupold warranty as well, the ones I have are currently old, but sound. I have one Vortex and it has good glass but not great, it's the PST. I'd go Elite 6500 or 4200 if I were you, good scopes, great warranty, rain coating works.
