I loaded some rounds and a realized that I forgot to chamfer. Should I pull them all or just shoot em. I measured them all and they are within specs of what they should be.
Im no reloading expert... but I would think your fine... but to say that with any authority (which wouldnt be too much) I think we'd need to know the caliber / type of round.
Relax. You're fine. Nothing will explode. Chamfering and deburring bottle necked rifle cases just makes seating the bullet easier. Handgun cases and straight walled rifle cases get a wee flare on the mouth. No chamfering is required for them. Deburr 'em though.
Shoot 'em and chamfer 'em before you load 'em again. You only need to chamfer and deburr after trimming anyway. You shouldn't need to trim every time either.
i only chamfer when/if i trim the cases... i mainly only ever collet neck size so i don't need to trim all that often. if the bullets you are loading have a very flat base it may be necessary, but im working through a pile of sierra's right now that are nicely rounded around the bottom... no problems seating.
