Need advice please

I am working on my SKS stock and I want to fill the blade bayonet cut with something and insert a swivel stud in it to attach a bipod. Has anybody tried it? What would you use for the filling? I was thinking epoxy or something like "mighty putty".

I just fitt some wood in mine

I cut a little piece of wood to fill mine and glued it in with epoxy. But mine was a spike bayonet that left a big hole on the stock. good luck
