Need advice - value of a 1941 Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III?

Back in the 1970's, my dad gave me his old deer rifle, a 1940's Australian .303, all matching #, sporterized very nicely.

I first saw it as a 7yr old in the early 1960's, in a basement cupboard, with his old Cooey SS 12g, a box of paper 12g shells, and loose .303 WWII surplus ammo.
(Those were the days)

I have it is secure storage, so I cannot this moment check the bore condition, but I remember III* being marked on it.

What is it worth (for insurance purposes) if it has a nice bbl vs. a worn bbl ?

I can take some photos if required.

SkodaCanada: Nice rifle and probably worth $500.00 based on what I see people asking on EE lately. I have 3 Australian SMLE's and they are among my best. Looking at your photos, the numbers you show on the underside of the bolt handle and the rear top of receiver are "assembly numbers" and only match each other and not the serial number of the rifle. It's good to have those matching. As to bore condition, if you've looked through it you probably already know what it's telling you. An excellent one will be mirror-like with sharp rifling. Often you'll have a bit of darkening in the grooves which may leave you with a good shooter as long as the rifling is still pronounced. Trying to clean a darkened bore is hit and miss. I've had a few that improved dramatically and a few I couldn't seem to affect no matter what miracle cleaner I used. I've definitely noticed a little shooting mixed in with cleaning sessions seems to help in some cases. So, what does it look like?
