Need an Alberta gunsmith

located somewhere between Yellowknife and Edmonton. Hay River, High Level, Peace River, Grand Prairie, Valleyview, Whitecourt. Our local gunsmith moved away this summer and now there's no one locally to do work. It would be nice if they were within a days drive of Yellowknife. Say about a thousand km. (it's 1700km from Yellowknife to Edmonton). I am going to need a Mauser 649 drilled and tapped for scope mounts and possibly a hot blue. Can anybody recommend someone. I've also posted this under "General Discussion" but no assistance yet. thx

All sarcasm aside - living this far north I obviously have done the mail order route - if you can read whats below my avatar - but if I have a chance I like to discuss possible modifications and customizing face to face with the person I am going to give a lot of money to. nuff said
