Hey all...

Just wondering if anyone has a link with some posted ballistic info on both the 9mm and .40S&W from rifle length barrels.

I read someone say that the .9mm is like a .38Super and the .40S&W is like a 10mm when fired from long barrels. I'd like to see some numbers.

Thanks.

Winchester FMJ 180gr 1132fps

General consensus on 9mm from a long barrel is with fast powders you might get less velocity as the drag down the barrel is more of a factor and the pressure peaks with the bullet 5 inches into the rifling.

Hope this helps.
