Need Enfield Bayo help

So I mentioned to my dad today that I had sold my Enfield rifle. He replies to me that he has an old Enfield Bayo/sword ? down in the basement somewhere, that he had found in a field years ago. So after a lot of searching I found it, and was hoping someone here could tell me what kind of Enfield rifle it would belong on.

The markings did not come out to well on the pic's but here are a some of what they say.

Looks like one of these. Is the '6' in the 1846 hard to see? An '8' maybe? http://arms2armor.com/Bayonets/brit1848.htm
The 'VR' is, of course, Victoria Regina.
The blade is in remarkably good shape for being found in a field.

I finally found a magnifying glass. It look like a small o. Either that or when they punched the number 8 in there only the bottom part of the punch indented the steel. Its a perfect o with no faint marks above it.

How much well I don't really know but I suspect that its worth a few hundred

Collector's source has one ( 1st model) for $425, but it isn't missing any parts. I would say this one is in the $300 $375 ish range because it's missing the release. Are there any reg markings?

Other than the numbers I mentioned in my first post, I see that on the butt end of the handle to top part says "I" and the bottom says "105."

And as I mentioned, after looking through magnifying glass, the date is 184o not 1846.
