Need expert advice

You can look that up at http://damascus-barrels.com/Belgian_All_Proofmarks.html . From a quick glace,she's black powder proofed,and built between 1910 and 1924 ( the way the choke is marked gives it away).For the value, you still have to measure your chambers, a 2 3/4 with tight lockup and no missing parts and good wood will fetch up to 400,
same in 2 1/2 will do 300. Cracked wood or fixed old cracks, deduct 50. worn or loose lockup and or missing parts = nice wall hanger, still 150.

In my opinion it is a $200.00- $250.00 gun tops if in nice shooting condition. If the wood has any cracks, or no finish or checkering left, $200.00 would be a stretch even if it is a shooter.If bores are pitted etc it is a $100.00 wall hanger. I think $400.00 is very optimistic.
 
Just because it is a cheaply, doesn't mean it's not a good little project gun. I would like to see the results of your work.

well i got it all cleaned up all the parts are in good condition [lots of elbow grease] glad the forend and rear stock were not cracked ..the barrel is reblued but the rest of the parts will be as is ..

 
Excellent work. I worked on a Janssen 20 ga I paid $100 for on the EE. It was completely worn out but the seller told no lies. It was my first rebuild and you have to start somewhere. The sears were toast and the metal very low grade. She was also off face, pretty much shot out. Cleaned up pretty good, stalled at doing a complete rebuild of the sears. Yours is a higher grade than mine for sure. Another stretch of -30c and she should be good to go.
