If someone who owns a Browning Maxus could take a caliper to one of the stock shims that would be very much appreciated. The dimensions I would like to know are:

- Total width from left to right.
- Total height from the the bottom of the notch to the rounded top (ballpark figure here).
- The internal dimensions of the notch at the bottom.
- The width of the shim wall on the sides and all around.

If anyone would rather take those measurements from the stock itself all the better.

Thanks in advance to anyone who responds!

All measurements are taken off a shim
total width 1.3"
total height 1.826"
notch width .557"
notch depth .44"
wall thinness on sides .076"
wall thinness at curved top .094"
wall thinness at top of notch .137"

Thank you very much for that!

You've also confirmed my suspicion, the Winchester SX4 uses Maxus shims, not SX3 shims. The more I look at the SX4, the more it has in common with the Maxus. The SX4 also uses a Maxus operating handle. Now to get rid of those SX3 shims and find some Maxus ones...
