I have a 9mm Stock2,...nice low sitting in the hand....the mag sits high, and allows for a good feeding angle,....feeds very well and recoil for 9mm is low, even using factory ammo.
If you are going to use this in standard division, you could get a Henning X-long firing pin (which is also lighter by 33%), and use lighter hammer springs to lower the trigger pull. Supposed to improve reliability as well. He also has some sears and hammers he has from EGW that appear to be something standard and Open guys will like.
depending on your grip size, you may be satisfied with the wood grips, which have nice checkering which provide a good grip without grip tape. I have small hands and ordered the aluminum grips from Sean at Freedom Ventures. The short hammer spring allows the grip to be smaller, which allows for good grip. With the aluminum, I think you would need grip tape, as this is what I have seen on local shooters Stocks with aluminum grips.
