Need Good Venison Meatloaf Recipe ASAP Please !!!

Make a mild chili instead. I've never been able to eat cooked venison meatloaf the next day. Anything tomato based, kills whatever it is that makes deer taste bad the second day. Just my opinion.
 
Looking for a good recipe for venison meatloaf.Don't like spicy stuff so just a good all round recipe would be great !.

Biggest thing for me is the fat content. Gotta have some to be palatable!

In general, I'd suggest adding some bacon (everything's better if you can put bacon in it! :D ), and some cheese (I usually shred or cube up about a half pound or so into a breadpan sized loaf). Then it's pretty much up to whatever flavour you prefer.

Cheap and easy is a couple pouches of Liptons Onion Soup mix. Plus a bunch of garlic. Always with the garlic, with venison. Mmmmm...

Bread crumbs or crushed Corn Flakes for a binder/filler.

I add olive oil for fat, 4 tablespoons per pound of ground venison. Ground onion, garlic and cumin are good spices in meatloaf and thyme adds a unique flavor as well.

I've come up with a killer recipe for cooking tenderloin or backstraps. Coat them in olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Sear lightly to brown in hot frypan. Remove and coat with dijon mustard. Sprinkle with garlic powder and thyme, then bake for 20-30 min's at 450 f. Turns out incredible.
 
I do the onion soup mix but the secret is to mix ketchup, a bit-o-mustard and a bit-o-brown sugar...

Mix a couple spoonfulls into the loaf and then glaze the top of it after it has partially cooked.
 
Make your favorite meatloaf, but try a 50/50 or 60/40 or even a 75/25 mix of Venison/Pork hamburger, this works very well for me, even serving my city folk In-Law's that will absolutely not touch anything "wild"! works well in cabbage rolls too, at Christmas time when all the relatives are over. I use a way less rice and much more hamburger in my cabbage rolls. I make a lot and there is never any leftovers!
As a side note, my new Perfect Meatloaf pans are in town at the Post Office, I'm going in this afternoon to get them and have Venison and Pork hamburger thawing as we speak, it's meatloaf for supper tonight!
