Need Help About CZ bren 2 AR adapter Remove

Hi everyone,

Yesterday, I finally got my new CZ bren 2 ms from I RUN GUN, But I can't remove AR adapter to clean it. My friend said that's should be a smooth action. My AR adapter feels like it's soldered. I have no idea to solve this problem.

Why do you need to remove the mag adapter to clean it. Run a cloth along the inner walls of the mag well and that's all you need to do.

Every gun I will thoroughly cleaned and lubricated, and I might consider switching to factory stock in the future.

The machining on these isn't always the best, and they may have added something to keep it from wobbling. I was experimenting with some light foam to pad out my joint and found that too much would almost seize it in there. I would suggest a plastic faced gunsmithing hammer or rubber mallet to lightly tap the stop of the stock adapter. It should move a bit before it hits the stop lever. If you can't tap it out this way then it does seem like something is wrong...

I agree with you that they probably added something for the purpose of fixation. I'd like to try heating this, but I'm not sure if the heat will cause damage to the gun.

Although I am a beginner, I still learned from basic videos. I learned normal remove method, but it doesn't work on my gun.

Pull the pin and depress the button

If it's too tight, just use a rubber mallet to to tap it while having the button depressed.

Thanks, but the problem is that the normal process doesn't work. It's not too tight and something's anchoring it.

Does the button press/slide easily or does it require force? how much distance does the button travel when you activate it.

The pin is really there to stop the button/lever from getting depressed. The button is a lever, it should be touching the edge of the slot on the other side while it is fully depressed.

On the inside is a "tongue" that sticks out - if the botton is not depressed fully the tongue will not be fully retracted.

I suspect the tongue is not fully retracted, maybe sticking out a bit. Even if it is sticking out just abit, it is enough to hold the end plate in. I will drown the button with oil first, let it sit a bit and then retry.

Don't tap it.

Adding lots of oil soak to the seams is a great way to do this, My sincerest thanks.

Thanks for all guys the help. We had success removing the adapter after much trial and error by a friend with a lot of firearms experience. we found out the reason was the new shims that were added to minimize wobble, which caused the adapter and the gun to jam part way up.
Hopefully anyone who buys a Bren 2 from I RUN GUN in the future will know why and how to remove it!
