Need help! Am i being paranoid?

Loaded all my 30-30 levers for years by FL sizing every time and still do
- no issues and recommend it.

But lately I have also begun trying neck sizing only for my 35 Rem lever and so far so good. Loaded rounds go in the chamber and come out after firing fine after several reloadings. I use my Hornady universal 35cal neck sizer and lightly crimp with the a Factory crimp die. I expect to have to FL size at some point.

I will admit that I don't have a Lee collet die for my .30-30, nor do I have a factory crimp die. I have managed for years with the standard sets of dies for full length sizing and crimping.
However, I have loaded quite a bit of ammunition for my Model 94 with jacketed and cast bullets. I want both accuracy and smooth functioning. I use this rifle for hunting and my shooting at the range is practice for hunting. I cycle the lever from the shoulder and I don't need to have any sticky case coming out or going in.
I have always full length sized my .30-30 cases. I rarely loose a case and most of the time it is due to small splits in the neck. .30-30 brass is plentiful so I don't mind losing a case one load out of a hundred.
My only technical steps are to keep the batches of brass separate, and I trim the batch the first time after full length sizing (the length is not important, as you simply want all of them to be the same length). Then I can crimp the bullets easily, both cast and jacketed (as long as they have a cannelure).
