I am having some issues with my ARMs 18 mount on my SA M1a. i fear that the hole in the receiver is partially stripped the mounting bolt will not bite at all to secure the mount. when i try to put just the bolt in the mounting hole it bites after a couple of turns. when i try the bolt in the receiver of my norinco receiver it bites right away. All this happend after a small tightening then the bolt just began to spin. Is there any fix for this?

Did you remove the small C clip on the inside of the mount that holds the bolt in place ...as alignment issues may come up if you didnt remove it. This also might give you a bit more room for the threads to grab as well .

I had almost the same problem with mine, my bolt stripped so I order two new ones from Arms with shipping and B.S. they are not cheap but I could sell you one if your stuck, Iam in North Surrey.

Look at the threads on that bolt in your picture, they are toast.
You need a new bolt and it wouldn't hurt to chase the threads on the receiver with the correct tap.

Exactly and make sure you are using the bolt with the correct threads. SAE or Metric.

Its a weird thread pitch - not common. Use very little torque with your replacement.
I followed the spec and stripped my first one.
