I know this topic could be in the optics section but seeing that I'm trying to get an ACOG for my AR, I hit a brick wall. I'm trying to make an M16A4 build but Irunguns doesn't allow my ACOG to be exported due to ITAR. However the options right now are to get an exportable model or use an alternative.

The one I'm trying to get is this http://www.irunguns.com/product.trijicon-ta31rcoa4-acog-4x-32mm-obj-368ft100meters-fov-dual-illum

Go with an Elcan? Or try to fill out some paperwork to try to get the ACOG? This really put a monkey wrench into my build. Not sure if a member of law enforcement could get a special request for a scope.

I'll need some advice on this one. It looks bleak.... might have to go with a TA11 Trijicon or an Elcan.
Thanks for the help!

Have you checked any of the site sponsors? I got mine from wanstalls not too long ago, maybe in late aug. I know I saw one in a BC shop not too long ago. Mine looks almost exactly like what your after. The kill flash and rmr mount I picked up separate later on

Will take a look at the options I got. No, the site sponsors don't have the one I'm looking for. The one I'm looking for has unique reticles? optics-trade.eu has no Trijicons... I just checked the ebay listing ^^^ and that link is not for an A4 AR. The TA31RCO is made for the M4 (14.5) or M16 (20 inch barrel) so I don't want to get the wrong one.

Put an add up for the optic you are looking for.

I have only ever seen one A4 calibrated for the M16A4 sold on the EE but many of the M4's calibrated for the M4's 14.5" barrel.

There are a few of the M4 ones out there and just need some patience as they show up on the EE every now and again.

I have purchased 2 through posting a WTB add and one that has been advertised on the EE.

I know the M4 is not the exact one but the only difference is the BDC markings in the reticle. If you aren't shooting Mil Spec ammo all the time it wont be any less accurate then the M4 model anyway.

Just my 2 cents.
