As the title says I'm purchasing a Sig P226 and a conversation kit to practice with cheap ammo and would like your feedback on the following. Before the Glock guys jump in...I already have a Glock 17 and love it but there's nothing wrong with owning a Glock and a Sig right?
My dilemma is the following:
Purchase a P226 Classic .22 then purchase the 9mm conversion kit
Pro: I save about $300'ish this way.
Con: No SIGLITE night sights on the .22 slide and not sure if they come with the 9mm conversion slide.
or
Purchase a P226 9mm BSS then purchase the .22LR conversion kit.
Pro: SIGLITE night sights included on the 9mm slide.
Con: Costs about $300'ish more than the previous idea.
Any thoughts, comments, suggestions?
