I want to add stability and Quick Release functionality to my Harris S25c Bipod by putting an accessory pic rail on the forearm of my Tikka T3x and then adding a pic rail QR adapter to the Harris. Does anyone have experience doing this and can recommend a pic rail that will work and that I can find in Canada (or online that will deliver to Canada hassle-free)? I would like to retain the function of my swivel stud if possible. I haven't bought the QR pic rail adapter yet either, so I'd welcome suggestions on that as well.

Tikka has two threaded collars in the forestock (at least the varmint does). I was thinking I might get a chunk of rail, drill it out to that spacing and just bolt it on the existing holes. You could use a longer sling stud as the front bolt.

That's my thought on the slickest way to do it. Cost is about the same as a stud to rail adaptor.

If I decide to go ahead I'll update it. But I'm going to follow this thread for any other ideas too.
