I was drawn for cow Elk in zone 312 in Alberta and am having a hard time finding a place to hunt. As far as I now the only public access land in that zone is McLean Creek and it is used for quads and 4x4's. So the chances of finding animals in their are very slim. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

312 is going to be real tough as you're finding out. There are Elk but usually in small groups and they move fast. Last year I saw a couple of real nice bulls on Private Property just off the #1. If you don't have permission to hunt private land by now I(personally) would'nt bother the land owners. Good luck.
