Need Help finding a specific 22-250

I'm looking for a 22-250 with specific features.

It must have

- detatchable magazine
- Wood Or laminate Stock


It would be nice if I could find one with

-stainless barrel
-Heavey barrel
-1 in 10 twist or faster


I am open to all manufacturers although I would like the gun to cost under $1000 dollars but for the perfect gun I might be willing to go alittle above the $1000 price tag but no more that $1300.

I am looking to pick this gun up at the Assiniboia gun show on the weekend of feb 13th so I need to figure out which gun I want so I can phone around and ask one of the dealers to bring one to the show if they have one.

I have a savage 12bvss in 22-250 and it is a tac driver. but the only thing that I wish that I could change about it is the mag system. it has a internal mag with not hinged floorplate. But other than that I love it.
Some other rifles I would consider in the 1000-1300 range is the savage 12 Long Range Precisison Varminter with the box mag. The Browning A-Bolt Stainless M-1000 Eclipse is also another good choice, but thats getting a little expensive. Remington has both the 700 VLS and the VS SF II. All of these rifles are very accurate and reliable. In my opnion I would check some of these out and see how they feel before setting my mind on one or the other though. Good luck searching.

Maybe a Tikka Varmint Stainless would suit your needs.

Not sure what their rate of twist is but I am sure they would have specs on their website.

I believe for a 1:10 twist you would be looking at a custom barrel. Most factory rifles are 1:12 and 1:14.
