Need help finding decent H1000 substitute. Unless you wanna sell some :)

I've heard RL 25 is pretty close just without the
temperature stability. RL 22 might even be acceptable.

If you can find it in your area, try some Retumbo....I switched to Retumbo when H1000 sold out. Don't be scared to buy an 8lb jug, you will be needing it for the big magnums.

RL25 is very close. RL22 is a good powder, but a bit faster.

Alliant is even harder to find than Hodgdon powders so if you happen to come across any Reloader powders count yourself lucky.
Retumbo is known to have quite a bit of lot-to-lot inconsistencies so watch out when switching lots. Hodgdon may have addressed it but last I checked it was still an issue.

I just happen to know where there's about 20 lbs of it....how much you want? I think it's priced at 45 or 49 bucks a pound..........but it's there. Anybody know how much shipping would be from BC to Ont on powder?

Did you check Higginson's? Their current (about a month old) list of powders in stock shows H1000 in 1 lb containers.
