I'm getting tired of wrapping bulky cable locks around my lever actions and would like to start using a lock such as the following:

Does anyone know of a Canadian retailer that stocks such a thing?

Why do you need an action/trigger lock on your non restricted gun for storage? Don't you have a cabinet/locked room?

Because my gun/fun room is small (it's also my home office), I like to use a rack on my walls to store my firearms. While I know it's not a requirement for "safe storage" I prefer to have my rifles individually locked rather than relying on my door lock.

Ah, I see. I have the same situation when I leave a gun in my workshop (no lock on the door).

just use a regular trigger lock on the loop portion of the lever. It will prevent the lever from closing sufficiently to activate the small saftey tab behind the trigger which must be depressed in order to allow the gun to fire/lock up completley.
