All along I've just used a red dot sight on this rail, now I want to put a scope on it. The rail is only 4.25 inches overall and the length with the pictanny slots is 3 inches, so the clamping portion of the cantilever mount can't be longer than this 3 in. The other restraint is the fixed rear peep sight of this rifle has fixed protective wings that need to be cleared by the rear objective of whatever scope I use. This works out to the optic centerline of the scope being about 1.6 inches above the top of the pictanny slots for a 1 inch dia. scope. Quick detach would be nice and I don't mind paying for quality. Any such animal available in Canada or from US company allowed to export? Ads don't give enough detail to make the necessary determinations. TIA.
