Hey guys i live on Vancouver Island does anyone know where i can find Krylon webbing paint in white on the island, if not i would be happy to pay the cost to ship me a couple of cans if it is found somewhere else, appreciate any help i can get.

You must be having the same trouble I'm having. I contacted the local Canadian tire and they said that they had some last year but won't be reordering it because it wasn't a good seller and they wouldn't order any in for me either.

It seems everyone sells Krylon but no-one is selling the webbing nor can they get it in. Still looking:confused:

Anyone know what the custom gun shops use, they can't be using krylon, I'm sure they are using something different.

I wonder if there's a way to get a paint gun to shoot like webbing maybe turn the air right down and paint way up? it will probably just spittle.

Most custom gun shops are using Endura (epoxy based auto paint), and I'm pretty sure the webbing is the same paint with a special nozzle.

I bought some Krylon on the weekend to paint a stock.... test spray on a plastic pop bottle looked like a piece of green plastic patio furniture:bangHead:

I'm not impressed with Endura after my brothers stock was done, if indeed its just a different nozzle then I should be able to reproduce the same effect with the armacoat privided I can find the right nozzle?

I think what the guys using the krylon webbing are doing is spraying it in the air an letting it fall naturally on the stock, it must come out somewhat stringy and less of a "spray".

I'm not sure who makes it, but crappy tire sells marble paint. It's for decoration, and will not work on gunstocks. But it's a two part in one can I belive. The black base coat sprays at the same time the white streaks spray out stringy like. Not sure how that works.

webbing

Brambles has it right you just spray over the stock and it falls on to it, I am going to keep the nossle off of the empty can I have and see if it works with regular Krylon but I think it is different as the webbing paint seems thicker and looks like it boils when it lands on the stock.
