Need help fitting Tapco SKS 5/20 mag

I just got a Russian SKS on trade and the factory mag is unfortunately experiencing feeding issues because it wasn't properly pinned. The original retailer tossed in a Tapco 5/20 mag to compensate but I can't get it to seat in the magwell, it stops about an 8th of an inch before the mag release catch.

I know you're supposed to file these to get them to fit in an original wood stock but I don't know where, can someone point me in the right direction please? Thanks.
 
you need to file the two edges that seat into the front of the stock. There is a post from TSE that has a video that shows you where to file... check their forrum.
