My folding VZ-858 tac v2's stock is stuck in the folded position.
I was thinking working it in a little would loosen it up.
The opposite has happened.

Not much you can do but lube it up and work it a lot. I found pressing the button on a bench/table was the only way to release mine fully at firts. Its not the hinge that is sticking it is the button not fully releasing. You have to work the button lots. Realistically though I would rather it be too stiff than too loose. Goodluck.

Or..

..Just keep working it. It'll loosen up. Alternatively you can strip it and take some emery cloth to the internals and help it along.

Pump a little Kroil or some other penetrating oil.

reduce tension by loosening the button with a screw driver .

you may wanna check the button isnt full of grease.
