Need help from someone who knows Tikka T3

The pin holding my bolt stop sheared off the other day when a round got stuck in the chamber. I work with machine shop guys who can make me a new pin and I'm looking for the length. I have the width, can anybody tell me? It looks like the length doesn't have to be precise but I'd feel better with the proper measurement.

More importantly I lost the tiny spring attached to the bolt stop and I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get a spare? I really don't want to pay $80 for a whole bolt stop kit which includes the spring and Tikka doesn't have repair contact info, they just direct you to local shops. I've contacted them but looking for other options incase they tell me I need to buy the kit.

I have a T3 that I can try and look at for you. I assume I'll have to pop it out and measure ite??

As for a spring, how about grafting one from a clicky pen???

It's too bad, cause I actually have 2 t3's. I will be dismantling the other one when it's back from bedding to do the long bolt stop trick.....

Yup, the ol' long bolt stop trick....

All t3's are the same action, but have different bolt stops and mags to make them short action, long action, and magnum action.

I have a .300WSM (short action) but I want to load long loads for it. In order to do this one takes out the bolt stop and gives it a little file job to make it LA. There's a mag modification trick too....
