Need help Identifing Norinco 7.62x39

I picked up some Norinco 7.62x39.Now i know what the silver box are but i have never seen the green with the words Norinco sports before.Also have a can of 750 rnds with chinese writing on it and never seen this before.I see the green box stuff says and is soft point ammo but what about the tin and is there any other differance from the silver box stuff.

I think its steel core ammo not sure
Edit: Is the whole round a copper color?

Copper washed milsurp in the tin.
Works very well when i had it, but it is corrossive.

Silver box is non-corrosive. I have soft point Norinco as well, but its in an even more odd box, a light green faded to white colour box. Cant remember exactly.

Tell us where you aquired teh silver box ammo. Immediately.

I picked up 2 cases of the siver box a year ago right off of here for a hell of a price.

Lever was selling the "China Sports" Norinco about 6 years ago. Lead core soft point non-corrosive. The stuff in the tin should be copper washed corrosive still good stuff. I have some older Norinco in the green box Steel core stuff.

If you sell the tin PM me, I don't have a 7.62x39 right now but I had tons of fun with that out of an AK and an SKS in the early 90's. That stuff is great.
