OK, so i'm sure these types of questions are asked all the time, but i'm at a loss. I acquired awhile back an Enfield; now I want to sell it to fund another project (not trying to sell here, just looking for info), anyways, I've been studying the rifle markings and checking online only to become more confused, it seems there are umpteen different variations with even more markings. so here I am, I "think" that this one "may" have been rebarreled (hopefully i'm wrong) but we'll see. here are a few pics I've taken of the rifle and some close ups of the markings. ANY help or direction would be GREATLY appreciated. as I said previously, i'd like to know what I have before I part with it !!, Cheers and thanks

The C broad arrow on the receiver is a nice one to have! And as mentioned the barrel was not originally with this receiver. Typically you'd see the serial number on the barrel, roughly next to the one on the receiver. (Plus you see some "squishing" on the barrel at the front of the knox).

Take a look on the right side of the receiver, at the back, you'll see a date and the name of the arsernal where it was made originally.

Looks like a #1 Mk3*. Its a Canadian issued one. We would need the barrel length over all to see if it has been cut down. Look under the bolt handle right on the butt socket and it will give you the year and the maker (BSA etc) It's a sported rifle, very common but also very nice looking. I would not turn my nose up at it if I were in the market.

I checked on the very rear, right side of the receiver (right above the band), and there is a marking but I can't make it out, and couldn't get a good pick of it, it's a very small marking. I measured the barrel and seems to be 25 1/4". the rifling is in excellent shape. also what would a ballpark value be ? thanks. also found another marking , for what its worth

Odd I wonder if it was scrubbed when it was sported. Can you send photos of the left and right sides of the socket?

Odd that the markings under the bolt handle were scrubbed, but not the markings on receiver by the barrel knox

Oh and the barrel is a replacement, 1943 or 45, I would guess 43 looking at the stamp.
