Help would be appreciated guys! I need someone who knows their military surplus guns to help me identify some guns my friend inherited from his grandfather. I can send pics via email.

Thanks,

Elliot

The falling block action Martini Enfield has 2 significant features that I note from the photos.

1. It has the stamp "DP" seen in photo #5 on the top of the receiver ring. This MAY mean that it's been modified or relegated to "Drill Purpose" condition...before you consider firing it, have it checked very carefully, and make sure you have the action taken out of the wood stock to check the condition of the barrel and chamber area that's hidden by the wood. You may find a hole drilled into the chamber.

2. Picture #6. You see what looks like a 6 pointed star on the upper left side of the receiver. This is actually a double broad-arrow proof stamp, with the arrows pointed into each other, indicating that the rifle has been sold out of service.

Hope that helps a bit.

First one is a Carcano, need to see more of the rifle to determine the exact model. This website can help you identify the specific model http://candrsenal.com/terminology-a-quick-and-dirty-guide-to-carcano-rifle-models/
Second one is a Henry Martini I don't know much about the price of those so I won't give one.
Third one is either a M96 or M38 Swedish Mauser I cannot tell due to there not being a full picture. If it is not sporterized (i.e. cut down) it is worth somewhere around 300$ (maybe a bit more if it is a M38).
Hope this helps.
