Need help Identifying Leupold and pricing

Howdy guys, trying to help out a friend sell a few of his things, he's pretty busy with work.

I don't know squat about optics but this is what I got.

Keep in mind I'm a total idiot when it comes to scopes. Is there more than one model of these? I found one somewhat similar going for 1800$ new, but I remember he paid over 2200$ with the tax when he bought it a few months ago...

That is a Leupold VX3 LR/T M3 3.5-10x40mm with illuminated TMR Reticle. Price sounds about right unless it has Front Focal Plane (the reticle appears to grow and shrink with the Magnification change. Pretty straight forward, what are you confused by? There are other models (i.e. ones with no illumination, different reticle, etc)

Thanks for the response. I'm trying to google pricings, but I keep finding another model that has the same name but it doesn't look like it at all.

How much do they go for??

I'll go check and see if it has the front focal plane.
