Need help identifying maverick 88 barrel! Is it real or fake??

I purchased a mossberg 500 and wanted a 18.5" security barrel to go with it. I posted a add looking for one and got some replies. One guy sent me some photos of his 18.5" security " maverick 88" barrel but it had no maverick or mossberg ID on it. All that was scribed on the barrel was a address and a shell size capacity .

Address : "1001 Induatrial Blvd, Eagle pass , Texas, USA, 78852"
And on the other side of the barrel was a description for shell sizes.
"Chambered for 2 3/4" and 3" shells, 12ga, 18.5in -cylinder bore

Does anybody have a maverick 88 or have had one and can clarify if this is normal or if it should say MAVERICK somewhere on the barrel? It seemed a bit odd to have a address but not the marketing brands name ? Maybe a knockoff ? Or is this real below are the photos!

P.O. Box 586, Eagle Pass, TX USA 78853
/
Chambered for 2 3/4 and 3” Shells

No mention of Mossberg or Maverick
 
Did you get that barrel with the gun new ?? So you know for a fact it's original manufacture maverick.
I find it weird mine give a address and yours is a PO box ? May mean nothing or not idk but I'm glad it doesnt have any names anywhere that's consistent atleast

Bought it brand new, probably 2010 or 2011.

Add, if you google “Maverick Arms” it shows the same address you have.

I 100% agree it's the right address my main concern was the lack of name branding "maverick" or "mossberg" but after everyone's replies clearly they dont brand there barrels BUT it's weird everybody gets the PO box address on the barrels and not the address that I got.

I know scammers try and make items as close to the real as possible and this is how they get away with it. The small details . I'm just wanting somebody to have the same address I got and not a po box then I'll pull the trigger on the barrel. That's all. ...
 
Also I noticed everybody has a zip code of 78853 with the po box option

Mine is zip code 75582 with a address another weird thing ?

Maybe one is the shipping address and the other is a main office ? I'm going to try calling again tomorrow and ask them directly

So what would you guys do ? Seems weird my barrel is the ugly duckling with a address and 1 digit off zip code. But it is the correct address and zip for there business?

What would you guys do, I value your advice. A new barrel from wolverine supplies pushes 190 shipped.... this barrel is far cheaper.
Anybody have experience with cutting a vent rib barrel ? What if I was to modify the 30" barrel to a 19" is it a easy process to crown it once cut with a hacksaw or no?

I think you’re over thinking it, no one is going to counterfeit a Mossberg barrel. I’d buy it.

I bought a used vent rib 30”, in the EE. Use a hacksaw and cut to 18”. Cleaned it up with a file and zip disc. It looks factory.
 
Ya, I may be eh :p I just want this to work . And you gotta give it to me it is weird it's the only one with a address and not a po.

I'll buy it and worse comes to worse I'll buy another from wolverine supplies. I can't help being worrisome with firearms , mistakes can be dangerous
