Need help identifying old Marlin pump

Does anyone know what model this Marlin pump is?
I've had it checked by a gunsmith years ago to make sure it was safe to use.
It's a 12 gauge and seems to be a takedown.
What's the value of a gun like this if any?

It's a model 28. I have one just like it for sale in the EE. My asking price was $250, but I'm going to have to drop the price or fix the gun and keep it. I took it out to the range last weekend and couldn't get it to cycle properly. It was the strangest quirk - you can fire a single round and cycle the pump to eject it, but you can't cycle the action properly after firing a shot when there are shells in the magasine.
