Cleaning up the bench, and came across this quick release ring set I got four or five years ago on a package deal. Going to put it on the EE, but want to be sure what make they are.

The dovetails are different widths, and both have a recoil stop. They are vertical split rings with two screws and two springs on bottom, and one screw on top. (Thanks sheephunter)

I think they may be Warne, but not sure.

Thanks for your help,
Ted

Two screws or one screw holding the top of the ring together?

The current Warne's have a removable recoil lug in the middle of the base but not sure if that's always been the case.

They kind of look like Talley but current Talley rings don't have a recoil lug at all.

Sounds like a Talley then but the base looks off...maybe just an older version? Nothing written on the side of the base? I think all the Warnes have two screws.

Thanks again, sheephunter. I was originally thinking they might be Talleys, but the base is what got me thinking otherwise.

I will email the pictures to them, and see what they say.

They are Talley rings for a Sako L61, AV etc.

no longer made and prob the best rings that go straight onto a Sako dovetail. The lugs go inside the receiver opening, one facing each way.
