I have run into a Sage EBR stock for a Mini-14 and I have no idea what they are worth. Normally I can come on the site and get an idea of value, but I can't seem to find anything on them. I can find lots of info for the M-14/M1A1 stock, but diddly-squat on this one. It's basically a scaled down version and has the two rod telescoping stock. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Talked with Bashaw. Even they weren't 100% sure. This one actually has the collapsible/adjustable stock, not a buffer tube. Will post up pics later today if I can get the camera working

I would jump on it. The ones with the Sage adjustable stock are worth more than the ones with the AR-15 buffer tube IMO. I have only seen a few mini 14 sage chassis as it is.

I had talked to a pretty knowledgeable guy that I know about it and he told me that they didn't exist with the collapsible stock, only the buffer tube, so I must be mistaken. I told him to stop by the house if he wanted, cause I was holding it in my hand at the time. As Driller says, apparently not a lot of them around: hence my problem. Not a lot of info.

The last one I saw was on the EE, it was a rifle with a few mags and accessories with the buffer tube sage chassis on it. The seller was asking $1500, but that was a good deal. It still never sold for some reason. So My guess would be 6-800 for the buffer tube stock and 8-1000 for one with the sage style stock.

I used to have a M14 in a sage EBR, and it was great until the rifle exploded. Haven't touched an M14 since.

I have to ask, what brand was the M14?

I have to ask, what brand was the M14?

The real question should be "what brand was the ammo" because it was just as much the fault of the ammunition. It was a tuned Norinco M14 using cheap AE ammo. It is notorious for having thin brass which I learned the hard way. Long story short I had a case head separation and the next round was a slam fire with a half open bolt and Kaboom! The barrel and receiver survived but the bolt definitely did not.
