New Norico 1911,When I was trying to replace the grips yesterday,

One of the grip screw adopter on the gun frame fell out and sticked with the screw,I can't separate them even I used a lot WD-40.

Could you tell me what to do?

Should I have to find a new screw adopter?

How to put it on the steel frame?:(

Try grabing the grip bushing with a set of vice-grips or in a vice and back the screw out. Don't damage the bushing threads, they are metric and a pain to replace.

A gun smith should have this part for about $5. I guess your grip is sandwiched between the screw and the cinch nut? try using some heat, maybe there is some locktite holding them together.

Degrease the bushing threads, and the frame threads.
Add a small amount of Loctite to the bushing thread, NOT the screw thread.
Reassemble to the frame, wait for things to dry, then try to remove screw.

The problem here is that the Norinco grip screw bushing is not a standard thread. It is metric & therefore has to be a Norinco bushing.
I had the same problem happen on my first Norc 1911. I used Loctite on the frame thread & put the screw & bushing back on to the frame . Then the loctite held the bushing to the frame & the grip screw came out.

Since then any Norc 1911 I gets retapped to a standard thread & I replace the bushings with standard, easy to find regular ones.

FYI, i picked up a set of "oversize" replacement bushings from brownells with the tap. They are the right size to simply run the tap thru the existing frame where the metric threads are. They recut the threads oversize to the easily obtainable oversize inch bushings and now i can use standard screws. I refit all my norcs this way, as i prefer to switch out to slim line grips, and need the short bushings.

Like he said. ^^^^^

Go to Canadian Tire and buy a tube of BLUE Loktite, or LePage Threadlocker. Install the bushing back in the frame and then just unscrew the screw the next day.

Same thing happened to mine. Pair of pliers to hold the bushing. After I got it apart I removed them all and used permanent (red) locktite on them. Haven't had a problem since.

Contact Gunnar at Armco - I'm sure he has lots of new, 100% genuine, premium quality, Norinco grip screw bushings (along with any other 100% genuine factory Norinco part your heart desires).

Gunnar retains the bushings on the frames he sells. I gave that idea a try already.
