This summer I bought a cheap reflex sight to try out on one of my SKS's as a trial; it cost $120. You get what you pay for, but for a trial it was worth it. I found out that I really like a reflex sight...especially on my SKS. It was SO much faster than I could even have imagined. Over the past several months my shooting at steel has really become quite fast...it's SO much fun! ...and such a good discipline. But now I have a problem. Twice in the past month the windage nut has loosened. This has made my POA go wonky on my SKS. I could have put Loctite on it, but I just decided to tighten it way up and switched it to my Chiappa Little Badger. It works wonderfully on it, is accurate, and I doubt if it will ever be jarred loose on a .22 lr. - http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/1133722-Chiappa-Little-Badger-Accuracy.
So now that I found out that I really like the thin lines of a reflex sight frame, what reflex should I buy for my SKS's that is durable? ...is there a well built, fairly economical option out there (under $300)? ...or do I need to go with a tube?
...thanks
