Getting into shooting longer distance. I am looking for a sub 1000 dollar option all in. My requirements are pretty basic but specific. I am looking for FFP and with a christmas tree style reticle. I am shooting a 224 valkyrie. Distances up to 1000 yards. A few options ive seen are vortex, primary arms, and athlon. Looking for any suggestions from people with more experience than myself.

Thanks for your time.

Check out US optics as well. Their TS line is pretty decent for the money. Got mine at Go Big Tactical. Sightron also makes some pretty decent glass for the money.

On the economical side, Athlon Argos BTR Gen2... turrents have been redesigned. 6-24 has the Xmas tree reticle.

If you can extend your budget a bit more, the Midas TAC 6-24 30mm scope is what I would highly recommend. Very good glass, new turret system that is tracking deadly. All the current features desired in a very cost competitive optic. I have run this scope on my rimfire and cf rifles to test and it worked great.

PM or email if I can help Thanks

Jerry
