I have a "hotrod" 10/22 that I need a scope for. I built up my Ruger a year ago and the only thing missing is a cool looking, but functional and reasonably priced scope.

The rifle is all stainless Volquartsen from head to toe with a Richards microfit stock. I can't make up my mind on a scope so help me out nutz!

My $ limit is about 500 bucks. Of course the scope has got to have one of those sunshades that reach out to the end of the barrel.:D I will be using this rifle for lots of gopher shooting so a 4-12 power will be ideal.

Okay people, let me have it!

A Redfield Revolution 4X12X40 is a heck of a scope, it is great i have one installed on my SR-22 and it is the perfect combo and the clarity is great without breaking the bank... JP.

Bushnell 6500 2.5-16. You should be able to find one for 500, they normally retail around 700. Great scope for the money lots of magnification good warranty

I have this on a CZ452, works great. Also have an Elite 4200 6-24x40 on a 223 that I am debating swapping over.
