Need help picking the right rings for my 50mm scope!

I ordered a Bushnell Banner 6-18 x 50mm and didn't realize it had a 50mm lense Always read twice before ordering.

It's for mounting on my Savage Mk II BTVS. How do I know rings I should get to make sure the scope clears the barrel? Also, I assume it needs 1" rings?

Are you able to add a rail on it? burris XTR Medium/High will work.

I'm using Burrix XTR mediums on my x56 Objective Falcon

I'm not sure... it has bases already installed. This is my first scope, be gentle

Take the rifle and scope to the store with you to buy rings. Get the lowest rings you can that still allow the front of the scope to clear the barrel and the bolt to open without interfering with the scope.

I would except I'm in Kingston, no stores around here I ordered the gun from wholesale sports. I was hoping that the rings would say how high they were from the base to the centre of the ring, but alas...

Go the the ring manufactuer's web sites and you'll find all the ring specifications there.

I have the same rifle as yours and the scope on it is the Bushnell legend 6-18x40mm and I am using the leupold rifle man high rings and it just clear the barrel, with the 50mm...you should use X-high and it should work.

"high" rings should to the trick in a pinch. Nothing like taking it down to a shop and testing rings... is that an option?

Yes, it is 1". The leupold rifle man rings will look sweet on your savage and cost only $23+tax.

It would look mean with a set of Leupold "High" PRW rings. Here is a pic of my savage with "low" PRW's, love them.
