Hey guys! I need some recommendations. target/competition trigger group parts. Im looking to order some upgrade parts for a glock 17 gen 4 and my M&P 9mm but I don't know what to get. I recently had some trigger work done to my berretta 92a1 and I love it!

It looks like lone wolf parts are the best choice for a Glock 17 Gen 4? What parts do I need? where can I get them?

Im not even certain if those are the best brand choices or not.
Can anything be done on a m&p 22 or a sig 1911 22?

A good friend of mine is a gunsmith. He will install all the components for next to nothing so I can't pass up the offer :). Any input will be helpful. Thanks guys!

honestly there's no better aftermarket triggers for glocks than the ones from ZEV TECH GLOCKWORX.all the ZEV TECH stuffs has been proved again and again by target shooters across the USA. all my glocks sports fullcrum drop in triggers in combo with their comp spring kit and the V4 race connector. all the glockworx parts are drop in,no gunsmith required.

my my G35 got the whole treatment: fullcrum drop in,v4 race connector, tungsten recoil rod,LPA adjustable sights......but for an immediate and very noticeable change of your trigger feel, just the ZEV TECH comp spring kit with the V4 race connector gets you the best glock trigger available on the market.then, you can add the fullcrum drop in trigger assembly which is adjustable in over travel and pre travel.

I can offer a comment on the Glock.

I have a Vanek drop in trigger group in my G17 Gen 3. It offers 2.5 lbs of 'glory'. Very nice upgrade that replaces all of the components in the factory group. Shortens reset, reduces pull and is still safe.

I don't think they will ship to Canada though.

Another nice trigger is the Zev Tech drop in trigger group. Armtec, a vendor on here sells them.

Both makes are available for a Gen 4.
The nice thing with these drop in kits is you don't mess with any of the factory parts. The kits retain all of the safety features of the trigger. Plus it's relatively easy to install the trigger kit if you know how to strip your Glock.

I played with a Ghost connector, a Glock 3.5 minus (-) connector and polished contact surfaces with marginal success. When I installed the Vanek kit it was like "night and day" improvement. I ended up installing a second kit in a G35 I owned I was that impressed.

Good luck with the other guns, I'm certain others will add their comments.

You do know you are also going to get some comments like "get used to it", "train", "it's a service pistol", etc.!!

For a competition M&P you can run the Apex comp sear kit and the forward set trigger. If you miss the feeling of the reset you may be able to add the RAM module. Personally I found the comp sear kit to provide too soft a trigger return and went with the Apex sear with factory springs for the best over all feel. Brownells, Dillon and Canadian Tactical Cowboy stock Apex parts.
