HELLO FELLOW NUTZ! ima going nuts looking for a bolt action ,accurate,weather resistant 308 for hunting and shooting paper long range,id like a remington sps tact ,but i have read that the finish is crappy and the gun rusts easilly,,i think i might get the remmy r5 milspec in stainless and deal with the extra pound of weight to carry it hunting..IS THE RUGER M77 acurate enough? i looked at savage but read(internet of course) that they are kinda "cheap" feeling.HEEELLLLPPPP!!!!.going NUTZ!!! (i presently hunt with my cz 858 762/39 which i love,,just missing a very acurate rifle for my collecton , THANKS!

For all the misplaced threads, you'd think they would just change the name to Sporting and Hunting Shotguns instead.
It needs to be simpler than that. We should reverse the titles, place the object first and its descriptors after! Shotguns: Hunting and Sporting, or the like. Draw clear lines as to where Hunting and Sporting Arms ends (or begins) and all the other categories start (or end)! Where do you list Rimfire pistols? In pistols? In Rimfire? ITS ALL SO CONFUSING!!!1111!!!1!

Don't sweat it, we're just hasslin' ya, plus a mod will move it eventually. I'd go for one of Remingtons' SPS rifles in stainless. "Calgary" Bass Pro has one listed for $680. I'm sure Le Barons also has some for sale, and at equal or better prices.
