A Browning “Capitan” Hi-Power. Serial numbered as mfd in 1993 . The Browning catalogue from 1993 describes it as a new offering that was a remake of the original “El Capitan” model with the same tangent sights (50m increments) and Commander-style hammer as the original military issue. There is no slot or means for attaching a stock like the original. Cal 9mm., with one magazine.
Sorry the CGN system will not allow me to post even one of the free CGN pics in this forum. This example appears virtually as new and may not have been fired. There are no signs of wear or flaws visible to me. No box or papers, except I do have the 1993 Browning catalogue.
I need some help pricing this, it is one of the restricted's that I should sell before the fall freeze. I am basically a revolver person who bought this a number of years ago as a token auto loader and then never used it. I have no idea of a fair price for both buyer and seller. Any help would be much appreciated.

That model was made for the American market, no stock cut, because
the ATF called it a short barreled carbine
The European model was cut for a stock

Last one I saw was listed for $1475USD ($1900CAD) and went within a week. It was listed as NIB and looked legit.
Granted the US market is different than ours.
