Hi all,

I've got a .243 Winchester heavy varmint rifle I'm looking to trade in at a local gun shop in exchange for a Radical Arms rm15.

I want to make sure it's a fair trade, and for some reason I seem to be having a difficult time finding accurate listings for this rifle online.

I'd be selling it WITHOUT THE LEUPOLD SCOPE AND BIPOD.

Pictures included in link below

Thanks everyone

I would say 500 ish
But honestly list at 800 and see what happens
If you have to btt every couple weeks and get mad when people ask for more pics you may become like the elite few here that think they deserve more than MSRP

I was hoping to get close to the $799 price tag of the Radical Arms rm15, but I really don't have a need for the .243.

Plus I already have a ruger 77/22 for any varmint hunting.

Either way I guess I'll list at $800 and see what happens

thanks

Oh really? That differs quite a bit from what Kwiebe said at $800. Did you see the pics by any chance?

thanks

Post it here in the EE and have Kwiebe buy it for eight hundred. Yes, I saw the pictures, it is a ~25 year old push feed rifle with unknown number of rounds through the barrel. .

One of the pictures seems to show the original Winchester inscription on the barrel, so I think that barrel is original to that rifle. Wasn't this called the Stealth or Heavy Varmint when it came out?

In any case, as stated above...no info on round count, push feed...OP, if you were in the market for this gun, what would you be willing to pay for it? That would be retail; knock off 20-30% for the store's mark-up. I suspect you will be offered somewhere around $500 or less. Contrary to popular CGN wisdom, a store is not cheating you when they offer you way below retail for your rifle; they are simply buying it for a price that allows them to sell it at a profit, at a price that the market will bear. Don't want the hassle of selling privately? Suck it up and accept the store's offer. Want top dollar? Sell it yourself, and accept the delay, inconvenience and potential problems that may come with that.

I can't make the script out...but if it is original, with an HS stock, $800 is possible.

I highly doubt that rifle is gonna get $800, push feed M70s just arent that popular. Id say you could reasonably expect $600-650 on the EE and your probably gonna have to wait a few weeks before you get any bites. You can list it for $800 but your probably gonna have to BTT as many times as the guy selling the Tolex browning key (12 pages of BTTs)Laugh2.
