Not sure if i'm in the right section, but here goes...........i am thinking of buying a rem. 7600 carbine in 30-06, wood is mint, blueing is about 95%........comes with a bushnell 3x9x44 scope.......what would be a fair price to pay for this rifle, i know pics would help but i haven't any and just looking for a rough idea on what to pay

550-600.

You're going to lose some velocity on the 30-06 with 18.5 inch barrel but for $400.00 grab it. There may be something wrong with it at that price, but I'd grab it anyway haha

You could flip it on here and make a cool $150.00

well i know the rifle abit and as far as i know there are no issues, he is moving to a bolt action and gave me a good deal on the pump.........now will the loss in velocity matter for deer or bear hunting,,,,will it make a big difference in distance

Some velocity loss will make no practical difference whatwoever, for deer and bear hunting.
The only thing will be the extra noise, which would be fairly severe with 18.5 barrel in 30-06.
You say you are a bit familiar with the rifle, so you may have been around when it was fired.

Others may know better but I can't see you losing more than ~100fps. It might make a difference target shooting at long distance, but whatever your shooting wont be able to tell. And while it will be a little louder than a 22+ inch barrel it will also be more pleasant to carry through the bush.
