If you just want to make blasting ammo and lots of it, I would look at a Lee 1000 setup with dies (should be complete from the factory). This will do all the reloading steps and load very quickly.

Not the more accurate way but it will make safe functional and decently accurate ammo. I would also lead you towards 55gr FMJ's like from Hornady, CCI 450 primers, Win cases, WCC 735 or H335 (dirt cheap, flows great through the powder measure and shoots very well in AR's).

If accuracy is what you want and you are willing to take more time to reload, you will need a single stage press and kit. I recommend the new Lee 50th anniversary kit with Lee collet neck die set. From there, you can add different/better items as your needs progress.

But it is all there to make great ammo that you can tune to your rifle.

Check out the Lee Breech Lock Press Kit. Great little press for the price. You will get most of everything you need to load with this kit. I think it is around $150.00. Powder/primers/bullets/dies of your choice. You will also want a powder trickler, which are very cheap, and a bullet puller. You can pick up a digital vernier from CT for a fair price. Myself I use H335 powder from Hogdens and Winchester or CCI primers with 55 grain fmj bullets for my AR. Hope this helps! You should have at least 3 different reloading books as well. Cheers!

I'd recommend:
- (hands down) Winchester for brass.
- Either Winchester (cheap plinking) or CCI BR4 or Federal 205m (match / accurate) primers.
- BDX/Montana Gold 55 grain FMJs (cheap plinking) or 69gr. SMKs (accurate / match) for bullets.
- Varget (match/accurate) or H335 (cheap plinking) for powders.

I'd steer you towards a Dillon 550 for a press - while not the cheapest, it will retain it's value, and will make excellent ammo. Hook it up with match dies, and it will produce ammo as good as a standard single stage.
I'd also steer anyone getting into loading for an auto, and wants to make alot of ammo into excellent quality case prep tools - The Giraud case trimmer, while big money is worth it. Prep a thousand cases with and without one and you will see what I mean.
