Can anyone out there tell me a good load for Titegroup powder I can’t seem to find much in the way of reloading data? Like most reloader’s I am getting frontier bullets from Higginson’s. I am using 115gr CMJ and 124gr CMJ bullets and I got a good price on Titegroup powder and now have 2lbs, but can’t find any load data.

I load 124gr. HP's only, with TG.
My load is; 4.3grs. of TG. 4.4grs. is max.
A little on the high side some may say,
but it's a nice load and I like it.
Still with-in stanard pressure specs, not +P.

Velocity out of my G17 and Sig P220 is +/- 1150fps.

Hodgdon sells Titegroup. You'll find lots of data on their site. Load for the bullet weight. Who made it or what jacket it has doesn't matter.

Scrounged from various forums.

Frontier 124gr. Win case WSP 4.1gr. TG 1.040"COL=1080fps in my G17

3.9gr titegroup for 124fmj

I use Frontier 124gr CMJ
4.2 gr Titegroup
Fed small primers
140 power factor.

With 124 grain CMJ bullets with Titegroup powder using small pistol primers (Winchester).......
- 3.8-3.9 grains using OAL of 1.169 I had a power factor of 122-125
- 4.0-4.1 grains using OAL of 1.169 I had a power factor of 124-126
- 4.1 ish grains using OAL of 1.54 I had a power factor of 132.5

I'm using 4.1gr of Titegroup with a 124gr. Frontier FP from a G17 at 1050fps.

Try 3.2 grains of Titegroup under a 147 grn. Zero or Montana Gold hollowpoint or 3.8 grains under a 124/125. Load anywhere from 1.12-1.15 oal.

3.0 TG, Berry's 147, just makes PF - 126.9
I settled on:
3.2 TG, Berry's 147: - 129.7

Personally I am using 3.8-3.9 Gr of Unique under 147 grain Frontiers (Thanks Repete) and find them really soft to shoot.

4.2gr with the 115gr bullet works great with Hornady FMJ's, too.

Plated seem to fly better with a hot load of 4.6gr.

BUT these load are for both an XD9 and AR. Just DON'T be blowin' up yer gun if it's not up to a hot load. :)
