Need help stripped a screw on a weatherby vangaurd 2 !!!

While tightening down a screw on the scope base on my vangaurd 2 I stripped a screw does anyone know the size of it off hand?

Probably 6-48TPI.

If the hole is damaged you might need to tap it oversize ( .146 - 48), brownells sells the tap and over sized screws but it might be less expensive to simply have the holes re-drilled and tapped to 8-40 by a gunsmith. If the hole is undamaged then then as mentioned a 6-48 is the norm but make sure the screws are not so long that the bolt binds.
