Need Help to I.D. this item.

This iron site looks like it attaches to a rifle possibly for a launcher of some sort. Can someone tell me what it is and what rifle it belongs to. Thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean. It looks like it would slip over the telescopic sight and you'd look over the scope rather than through it. Your eye/head would be in almost exactly the same place.

Looks to be some sort of night sight judging by the way the front and rear sights are marked.

SOMEONE has tried to use it as some sort of impromptu muzzle brake, judging by the fouling inside it, but I haven't seen one before.

How big is it? Could be a night sight which clamps on the muzzle.

Certainly not for an Enfield as those used for line throwers don't have sights.
And yes, I have a No4 marked LT. The sight has been removed.

I kinda doubt it's an iron sight for a Carl G, all the ones I've handled have had permanently attached iron sights which that definately would not fit on. Granted its entirely possible someone with alot more time in than me remembers an older version.

Sorry guys - I have NO IDEA. Maybe tritium iron sights for a Steyr Aug? Slips over the integral scope/handle?

It is designed to go over the front of the barrel, whereever it it used, I would say.
