Need Help to ID Mauser 98

Can anyone help to ID a Mauser that has a 5 digit serial number, a double crossed-sword symbol and a letter "T" inside a circle on left hand side of receiver?

Sounds like a Spanish Model 43. Can you post a couple of photos, one of a good close look at the receiver ring (chamber) marking?

Also would be good to now what calibre. If it's the Spanish 43, it will be 8x57.

The pics I have are embedded in an email as attachments and I cannot save them individually. I'm away for a couple of days but will try to sort that out and post pics when I get back. The rifle has been sporterized and now wears a custom barrel so can't say what original chambering was. Sorry for not being much help to date.....bear with me.
