Please help me to Identify those markings as I'm trying to know more about this Particular Rifle

Thanks For Looking and Sorry For the Crappy Picture but those Markings are Very small and not Easy to picture

Regards Eric

B U G under crowns - German Proof Rules of 1891 proof stamps.

The eagle is the German Imperial eagle [adler]

The smeared stamp is another form of the eagle.

Czechoslovakia did not exist when this rifle was made.

Great to know, but Manufacturer Code and Year Are. : DOU 45, so I don't understand why imperial Germany Markings are presents???

Any Clue??

Didn't look through it, but this might be of some use. http://bluebookofgunvalues.com/Info/PDF/Firearm/Proofmarks.pdf
Or here. http://www.petealbrecht.com/mauser/mauser.htm There's tons and tons of stuff linked to this site.
Suggest you take a better picture and include the top of the receiver ring.
In any case, I'm thinking it may not a 1945 manufacturer date. Any Eagle over Swastika stamps? DOU is Waffenwerke Bruenn, A.-G., Werk Bystrica.
A lion is a Belgian stamp, as I recall. Mind you, everybody and his brother, all over Europe, used lions and/or eagles for heraldry and proof marks.

Thanks to All of You guys, I have followed your recommandation and move this thread to MILSURPLUS Forums and included more info on the Rifle.

I Really appreciated your inputs on it!

Cheers Eric
